PPC® Selected as Vendor Partner by Digital Delivery Group

EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Dec. 7, 2009 — PPC®, a leader in connector technology and innovation for more than 65 years, today announced that it has been named a vendor partner by Digital Delivery Group (DDG), the leading distribution consortium for digital-home technology. Under the agreement, DDG will distribute PPC’s entire Perfect Path™ line of cutting-edge, easy-to-use, professional-quality A/V interconnect cables, connectors, and bulk cables for in-wall installations, in addition to providing customer service and technical support.

 

Established in 2005, DDG consists of 17 members and 29 distribution centers across the United States. DDG members are specialists in a wide range of technologies, including networking products, whole-house control, content storage and management, and new technology. With this expertise, DDG is more than just a buying group; it functions as a strategic resource for its vendor partners and its dealers.

 

With Perfect Path, the consortium is providing connection to the ultimate HD experience with connectivity down the entire signal path from the service provider and into the home to the back of an HD display. Perfect Path solutions are founded on PPC's years of experience working with the cable and satellite industries, reducing truck rolls and operational costs for installers, and enabling flawless system performance for their customers.

The Perfect Path line features PerfectLock™ HDMI and RCA connectors. These connectors do not require product modification, magnets, or set screws, and they feature an innovative built-in mechanism to lock the connector automatically into the port at more than 25 pounds of retention. This is more than 10 times the strength of conventional connectors, supporting continuous maximum sound and picture quality while reducing cable fall-out and service calls for installers and consumers. For in-wall installations, the line includes professional-quality bulk cables including Cat 5e, Cat 6, speaker cable, mini coax, and more.
